VISHESH THAPAR

Vishesh Thapar, 34, started his academic journey at UCLA as a Mechanical Engineer. This was followed by a Master of Design Diploma in Florence Design Academy, Italy. Vishesh is an all round creative, and has been involved in a number of fields, all related to various aspects of design.

"The principal motivation for me to start Unblok in my hometown of Ludhiana was to multi-fold. First, I want to provide a better and cost-effective design alternative to my local businesses, helping them grow with quality assets.

Secondly, I want to start a local design community and forum in Ludhiana to educate and involve the young students, as I believe that more and more of the youth are leaning towards creative fields and will need a starting point to gain some reference into the world of design and creativity.

Thirdly, I want to make the general public more aware of design principles and trends, so we can compete with the Tier 1 cities in terms of modern and contemporary design."
